The Brunswick Chamber of Commerce is seeking participants for its Christmas Parade, “Jingle All The Way” which is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m.
The parade starts at 514 New Street in Lawrenceville and ends at the stoplight at the corner of North Main Street and Church Street.
Prizes will be awarded in three categories:
LARGE which are professional floats and those on or pulled by anything larger than a pickup truck. Flatbed trailers long enough to hold more than 1 car will be judged as large regardless of the type of vehicle used.
MEDIUM which will be entries pulled by pickup trucks or smaller or where the pickup is used as the float.
SMALL will be entries such as golf cars, lawn mowers and 4-wheelers.
First place in each category will receive a trophy and cash prize of $100, $50 and $25 respectively. There will be an overall second, third and honorary mention who will receive ribbons.
The parade is sponsored by the Brunswick Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Lawrenceville, and Lawrenceville Lions Club.
The Brunswick County Museum located on courthouse-square will be open until 9 p.m. There will be refreshments.
