LAWRENCEVILLE – After months of planning and countless emails the special day is almost here. The 2019 Taste of Brunswick Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lawrenceville-Brunswick Municipal Airport, 77 Airport Drive. See a map of the grounds and a list of vendors in the special section inside.

The Virginia State Police will assist the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office with traffic. Lieutenant Chad Clary, Patrol Division with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, said all festival traffic will enter off Highway 58 onto Airport Drive and be directed to the parking area. Airport Drive will then become a ONE WAY road traveling towards the intersection with Brooks Crossing. NO traffic will be allowed to travel up Airport Drive towards Highway 58. Those attending the festival will exit the parking area and travel back to Highway 58 via Brooks Crossing. They may choose to travel east on Brooks Crossing and intersect Highway 58 near Lawrenceville Brick or travel west and pickup Highway 58 near Brunswick High School.

Sheriff Brian Roberts said both eastbound and westbound Highway 58 will be reduced to one lane within proximity of the festival for turning lane purposes onto Airport Drive.
