GASBURG - Beginning Sunday, July 21, the Pleasant Hill Christian Church located at 175 Ankum Road in Gasburg will hold Homecoming and Revival services.  The special Homecoming Day service will begin at 9 a.m. with Bible School for all ages followed by a special Homecoming worship service at 10 a.m.  Following the worship service on Sunday, food and fellowship will be shared at a luncheon in the PHCC Family Life Center.  Revival services will continue nightly, July 21-25, Sunday-Thursday at 7:30 p.m. (pre-service concerts will be at 7 p.m.). After the Thursday evening worship service, everyone is invited to gather in the Family Life Center for ice cream and fellowship in conclusion of this special Revival event.

The Guest Evangelist for these services will be Cameron Bailey. Cameron is a country boy born and raised in Southside Virginia. He is an alumni from Mid-Atlantic Christian University (then Roanoke Bible College) and has been the preaching minister of Kenbridge Christian Church for just under 17 years. While enjoying the ride God has him on, Cameron preaches and lives by the idea of striving to teach anyone and everyone about the goodness of God knowing when they discover who HE is they will never be the same. Jeremiah 29:13-14 lets us know when we search for God and mean it with all our heart He makes sure we won't be disappointed. Cameron is also a professional Firefighter/Paramedic for the Government at Fort Pickett, in Blackstone, Virginia.  The running joke with his co-workers is: "If the call gets real bad, Cameron has you covered whether you live or die".  He is married to his best friend, Hollie, and they have 3 children (Samantha, Caleb, and Eli) who range from 14.5 - 21 years of age. Preaching is one of his strongest passions and he simply loves the opportunity to grow together as Church isn't a competition but a family helping one another out.

You will be enriched and enlightened by Brother Cameron’s messages from God’s Word.  There will also be some outstanding special music brought to us each evening by a variety of singers and musicians including The Bowman Family, (Charles, Jessica and Grace) Harris Family, Dr. Paul and Wanda Bailey and Family, David High, and PHCC Singers and Musicians, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. prior to the service and also just prior to the messages during the services.

The ministers of Pleasant Hill Christian Church, Greg Hand and Rob Tromm, and the members of Pleasant Hill Christian Church cordially invite everyone to attend. For more information or if you have any questions, please call the church office at (434) 577-2463.
