The James Solomon Russell – Saint Paul’s College Museum and Archives is in the process of moving from its current location to the second floor of the Brunswick County Conference Center.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10.

The day will begin with a wreath-laying at the Russell family cemetery at the Saint Paul’s Memorial Chapel Cemetery at 10 a.m.

A worship service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Saint Paul’s Memorial Chapel. The service will be led by Rev. Canon T. Harmon from Washington, D.C.

The grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting will begin at 1 p.m. at the Brunswick County Conference Center (former Saint Paul’s Student Union), 100 Athletic Field Drive, Lawrenceville. A program with speakers and music will conclude with the ribbon cutting at the entrance to the center.

At the conclusion of the ceremony a reception will be held and the museum will be open to the public.
