We’re opening the doors to a healthier future

It started by partnering with VCU Health and our shared vision to bring the best in care close to home. Now that vision is a reality. The new VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital is here and it’s something we can all take pride in. Because it’s not just for the community, it’s by the community. We’ve been on this journey together from the start—dreaming, planning, and doing—and it’s time to celebrate the healthier community we’re building together.

We are inviting you to attend our Grand Opening Celebration on Oct. 14, 2017 at our new hospital located at 1755 North Mecklenburg Avenue starting at 9 a.m. with remarks from VCU Health leadership followed by an official ribbon cutting.  From 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. the building with be open to event attendees for self-guided tours.

Limited seating for the ribbon cutting ceremony will be available in front of the main entrance to the new hospital.  There will also be limited parking onsite.  Parking lots can be accessed by both entrances, one off North Mecklenburg Avenue/Highway 1 and the other off Route 138.  If onsite parking lots become full there will be additional parking with vans available to shuttle attendees to the ceremony at the following locations:  Fastenal, Hughes Supply, New Hope Baptist Church, and Virginia Quilting Company (see photo for additional lots).
