LAWRENCEVILLE - The VCU Massey Cancer Resource and Research Center – Lawrenceville will be having a Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, Oct14, 2020, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. The VCU Massey Cancer Center (Richmond) will host a conversation on health equity with the campaign 25 for 25: Health Equity & Justice. The 25 for 25 is a campaign that focus on educating and informing, with the interest in disparities in cancer health. The campaign will showcase how the VCU Massey Cancer Center is working to understand and address cancer health disparities. The facilitator for this webinar is Dr. Michael Preston, Assistant Director of the Office of Health Equity and Disparities Research, he will share informative information about why health disparities exist, understanding the importance of having public conversation about cancer health disparities, disparities within your community and what VCU Massey Cancer Center is doing to address the issues.
