Class ring lost at Lake Phoenix, found and delivered

Dalelynn L. Sims shared this lovely story. “It was about this time of year, 2019, and like all graduating seniors Crystal had ordered her class ring. With summer arriving Crystal anticipated the arrival of her ring.  It came the same day they visited Lake Phoenix in Rawlings, Virginia for the first time. While the day was enjoyable it was not without incident as the coveted class ring had been lost. Divers are a great group and the ring was found and turned into the staff there.  Attempts were made by posting lost items on the Lake Phoenix Facebook page.  More than a year passed and no inquiries.  Armed with the first name and graduating year the search continued.   Yearbooks searched, high school and the school board contacted. Almost two years later the class ring found its way home to finally be worn by our graduating senior Crystal Lopez.”
