Brunswick County Library will be hosting a career program, inclusive of, “Are You Ready for the Future Workforce” and “Utilizing Internet Resources,” on Monday, September 26, 2022, 6:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. The event will be held on the 3rd level of the library in the large conference room. 

Persons ages 16+ are encouraged to attend this special community opportunity in order to acquire skills that are necessary to be successful in today’s and in future competitive workforces.

The event will be presented by Mr. H. B. “Buck” Brockwell, a former Southside Virginia Career Coach and a long-time Brunswick County educator. Mr. Brockwell will deliver an interactive presentation, answering, “Who, When, Why, and How – Are you ready for the future???”

Mr. Brockwell’s career program will educate the public to utilize essential workforce tools such as taking advantage of apprenticeships, the high-demand and importance of STEM, preparing for interviews, strengthening resumes, developing a portfolio, the value of business ethics, and more.
