Lois B. Johnson

Lois B. Johnson, age 91, of Alberta, Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Born in Freeman, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Virginia Browder, and was widowed by M.L. Johnson, Jr. She was also predeceased by a brother, Fred Browder.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Johnson and wife Wanda, Bill Johnson, Joe Johnson and wife Brenda, Janice Johnson, Bubba Johnson and wife Beth; grandchildren, Bryson Smith, Buck Johnson, Heather Chisholm, Ryan Johnson, and Tyler Johnson; great-grandchildren, Jackson Smith, Will Johnson, Madalyn Smith, McKinley Smith, Cooper Johnson, Caleb Johnson, and Coby Johnson; sister-in-law, Hattie Browder; nieces, Brenda Bouchillon and Kathy Moss.

A funeral service was conducted Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Alberta, followed by interment at Bethel Church Cemetery. The family received friends prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alberta Volunteer Fire Department or Bethel United Methodist Church.
